Vol. 98 No. 3

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - School Children and Increased Motor Traffic.

asked the Minister for Education if, in view of the increased motor traffic that is likely to be operating in the near future, he will consider advising that instructions be given in all schools under his control as to the rights and the obligations of the individual on the public highway.

The question of road safety for children is at present receiving consideration in view of the anticipated increase in traffic dangers when normal motor traffic is resumed, and I propose to make arrangements for the early resumption of talks and instruction in the schools on road behaviour.
