Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Soldiers' Deferred Pay.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will consider the immediate payment of deferred pay to soldiers who re-enlist in the Defence Forces and to soldiers whose period of service has not yet expired.

Deferred pay, accrued up to the 26th September, 1945, is now being paid to non-commissioned officers and men of the permanent force and to non-commissioned officers and men of the Reserve and durationist classes who re-enlist for service in the permanent force.
