Vol. 98 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sunday Buses for Rural Districts.

Mr. O'Reilly

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state when it is intended to restore Sunday bus services for rural districts, and what steps have been taken in this direction; and, if no steps have already been taken, if he will take up the matter immediately with the bus companies so as to have these services restored.

Sunday bus services to rural districts cannot be fully restored until an adequate number of new vehicles can be procured by the companies and it is not at present possible to forecast when this stage will be reached.
