Vol. 99 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Petrol for Potato Transport.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will make an allowance of petrol available to owners of private lorries who are engaged in the potato trade so as to enable them to collect potatoes from farmers and to deliver them to their customers.

A basic monthly allowance has been granted since November, 1945, in respect of all commercial motor vehicles which are licensed irrespective of the purposes for which these vehicles may be used.
