Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Landings and Export of Fish.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state the total quantity and value of (1) salmon, (2) prime sea fish, (3) other wet sea fish, and (4) shell fish, landed in Eire during the year 1945; and the quantity and value of the same categories of fish exported from Eire during the same period.

The reply is in the form of a tabular statement which will be published in the Official Report.

As the collection of particulars regarding the catch of salmon and trout in 1945 is still proceeding a figure, for the total catch is not yet available. The figures in respect of landings of prime sea fish, other wet sea fish and shell fish are not final, being subject to revision in the light of certain additional information still in process of collection.
