Vol. 99 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Fenit Island Improvements.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that the wall built some years ago to protect the holdings on Fenit Island has proved to be inadequate for this purpose with the result that considerable hardship is caused to the local people, and if he will now consider making a grant to have the existing wall extended for some hundreds of yards.

The Land Commission have under consideration representations made to them regarding the prevention of flooding stated to be taking place on holdings at Fenit Island on the estate of J.C.D. Hurly, Record No. S. 2685, County Kerry, but they are not yet in a position to state what action, if any, they can take in the matter.
