Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Town Rates.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state with reference to town commission charges: (a) the average rate made for the last financial year; (b) the average expenses incurred in the collection of such rates, including irrecoverable rates; and (c) the maximum and minimum costs of such collection.

A statement of the rates struck by town commissioners for the present year will be circulated with the Official Reports. The information requested in the second and third part of the question is being compiled and will be sent to the Deputy when completed.
