Vol. 99 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Delivery of Letters at Rineanna Airport.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state whether any arrangements have been made for the delivery of letters at Rineanna Airport to passengers arriving from overseas by air on Sundays.

Letters are not delivered at Shannon Airport on Sundays. A Sunday delivery service is contrary to general policy, but I am considering whether the amount of correspondence for passengers from overseas would warrant exceptionally the provision of a service on Sundays at Rineanna and I will communicate further with the Deputy when the enquiries have been completed.
