Vol. 99 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sewerage Scheme.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will arrange to expedite the completion of the sewerage scheme for the town of Durrow in view of the general demand from clergy, traders and the citizens of the town for such amenity.

The preparation of a sewerage scheme for Durrow is a matter for the local authority in the first instance. A communication received recently from the Laoighis County Council indicated that the council are considering the provision of a sewerage scheme. No plans, however, have yet been submitted to my Department for approval.
