Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Payment of Emergency Bonus in Laoighis.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he has now received an application from the Laoighis county manager for the payment of an emergency bonus to the employees of Laoighis County Council; further, if he is aware that it is the unanimous wish of Laoighis County Council that this bonus be paid; and if he is prepared to sanction the payment at an early date.

The Laoighis county manager's proposals for increased emergency bonuses to employees of the county council were received in the Department on the 22nd March. They were approved on the following day and the manager has been notified of the approval.
