Vol. 100 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Reopening of Branch Railway Line.

Mr. Brennan

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he can now say on what date Córas Iompair Éireann propose to reopen, for passenger and goods traffic, the branch line between Woodenbridge and Shillelagh, County Wicklow.

There is no immediate prospect of a sufficient supply of materials becoming available to permit the relaying of the rails on this line, and I am unable to say at present when the line may be reopened for traffic.
