Vol. 100 No. 18

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Visits to Great Britain.

Mr. Corish

asked the Minister for External Affairs if he will state what arrangements have been made, or are likely to be made, to facilitate citizens of this country who desire to travel to Great Britain during the holiday season for the purpose of visiting relatives.

Under their existing regulations, facilities are not granted by the British authorities for visits to relatives other than parents, children, husbands, wives and, in certain circumstances, sisters and brothers. I am not in a position to say at the moment what likelihood there is of these facilities being extended.
