Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Migration from Donegal.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he has received any applications from families in County Donegal who are anxious to migrate to County Meath; and if it is intended to resume migration from Donegal in the near future.

Some applications for migration from County Donegal to the midlands have been received during the past few years. At the moment there are no suitable new holdings available for migrants in eastern districts. Applications from Donegal will, of course, receive every consideration when circumstances permit.
