Vol. 101 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Prices of Maize and Indian Meal.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will give favourable consideration to the question of fixing a flat rate delivered price for maize to all mill owners.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will now state whether it is his intention to fix the wholesale and retail prices of Indian meal.

I shall take questions Nos. 2 and 3 together. The question of fixing prices for Indian meal, including that of a flat delivered price for maize to millers, is at present under consideration. I hope to be in a position to give a decision at an early date.
