Vol. 101 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cross River (Mayo).

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that a considerable amount of land is flooded by the Cross River, Cross, County Mayo; and if he will state when operations will be commenced for the cleaning of the river.

The drainage of the Cross River, County Mayo, can only be considered when the Corrib catchment, of which it forms a part, is being dealt with. I can make no forecast at this stage as to when the district in question may be reached.
