Vol. 101 No. 15

Vote 27—Widows' and Orphans' Pensions.

I move:

That a sum not exceeding £300,000 be granted to complete the sum necessary to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending the 31st day of March, 1947, for payment to the Pensions Investment Account (No. 29 of 1935).

What does this cover?

The endowment fund —the investment fund which has been built up for widows' and orphans' pensions, in respect of contributory pensions and the general administration of the scheme.

Vote put and agreed to.
