Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Licence Fees.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state, in respect of each of the last three years, the amount received by way of fees in respect of licences and/or permits for (a) manufacture, (b) sale by wholesale, and (c) sale by retail of the several articles or commodities for which a licence fee or permit fee is payable, and the total sums so paid, in each of those years, in respect of each such article or commodity.

As the reply is in the form of two tabular statements, I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to have these circulated with the Official Report.

The following are the statements:

Tabular statement of the amounts received in each of the past three years by way of fee in respect of licences and/or permits for (a) sale by manufacture, (b) sale by wholesale and (c) sale by retail of the several articles or commodities for which a licence fee or permit fee is payable.
