Vol. 102 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Provision of Sports Field.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that the people of Kilmaine, County Mayo, are at present without a sports field; and if he will consider granting them the use of three statute acres of ground for this purpose on the lands already in the hands of the Land Commission at the Hundred Acres, Kilmaine (French estate).

It is presumed that the question relates to the lands of Hundred Acres on the O'Brien Estate, Record No. S.8477, which is situated about 1½ miles from Kilmaine village. An application for a sports field thereon has been received and will be considered by the Land Commission when they are deciding upon a scheme for division of the estate.
