Vol. 103 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sanction of Enniscorthy Bonus Order.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will now convey his sanction to the payment of a bonus to two tradesmen and two labourers, employed by the Enniscorthy Urban District Council, especially as the necessary order has been made by the county manager for a considerable time; further, if he will state the reason for the delay in sanctioning the payment.

Sanction to the proposal to pay an emergency bonus to carpenters, masons and labourers in the employment of the Enniscorthy Urban District Council was issued on the 12th instant. There was no unnecessary delay in my Department in dealing with the proposal. The manager's order was received on the 26th October.
