Vol. 103 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Exports of Beer and Spirits.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the quantities and value of (a) whiskey, (b) porter, and (c) ales, exported from Éire, during the 12 months ended 31st October, 1946.

The quantities and values of the exports during the 12 months ended 31st October, 1946, as brought to account under the official export list descriptions were: Whiskey, 293,687 proof gallons—value £291,651; ale, beer, porter, 771,094 standard barrels—value £3,724,952.

For which a good deal of the raw materials come from England—is not that so?
