Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Income-Tax Benefits for Irish Writers.

asked the Minister for Finance if he proposes to take steps to secure, for Irish writers, the benefits of a double income-tax agreement with the United States of America, similar to that under which British writers now enjoy a remission of the 30 per cent. tax on their American royalties.

The point raised in the Deputy's question has recently been brought to my attention and is receiving my consideration.
