Vol. 103 No. 11

Written Answers. - Turf Valuation Circulars.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state on what date since the 1st January, 1940, and in what terms, he circulated county councils, county managers, or any other county officials in relation to the valuation of properties from which profits had accrued, owing to the sale or cutting of turf during the emergency period; and if he will also state the counties to which these communications were addressed and the terms of any such communications.

Two circular letters were issued, one on 11th April to the secretary of every county council and the other on 2nd May to the Secretaries of the County Councils of Donegal, Galway, Kerry, Kildare, Longford, Offaly, Roscommon, Tipperary (N.R.), and Westmeath. I am sending the Deputy copies of both circular letters.
