Vol. 103 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes for Tallaght.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he is aware of the urgent need for a water supply and sewerage system for the village of Tallaght, County Dublin; if he has received any proposals from the County Commissioner, Dublin County Council, for the provision of these services; and further, if he will expedite their provision.

The provision of a water supply for the village of Tallaght forms part of the programme of public health works which the commissioner acting as the Dublin County Council proposes to provide. Investigations are being made to determine the most suitable source from which the supply can be provided but they have not yet reached the stage at which it would be possible to submit a complete scheme for approval.
