Vol. 104 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Establishment of Post Office in County Wexford.

Mr. Corish

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is prepared to establish a post office in Tacumshane, County Wexford, and to install a public telephone there.

Representations have already been made to me in this matter some time ago and I had already refused the application on the ground of cost. I propose, however, to reconsider the matter in the light of the Government policy of giving reasonable facilities in rural areas.
