Vol. 104 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Bread Rationing Order.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if his attention has been drawn to advertisements in the public Press offering unrationed cakes for sale to traders and caterers; and if so, if he is satisfied that there is no evasion of the bread rationing Order in these cases.

I am advised that in the cases which have come under notice, cakes which are being offered for sale as unrationed are not made from wheaten flour, and do not come within the rationing regulations.
