Vol. 105 No. 4

Committee on Finance. - Vote 67—Miscellaneous Social Welfare Services.

I move:—

That a sum not exceeding £304,300 be granted to complete the sum necessary to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending the 31st day of March, 1948, for sundry Miscellaneous Social Welfare Services, including Grants.

Vote put and agreed to.

I would like to mention one thing in connection with Votes 7, 27, 44, 59 and 67, which are all revised Estimates. Deputies will doubtless have observed that they had not the full notice prescribed by Standing Orders. I assumed, however, in view of the special circumstances, that there was no objection to these revised Estimates being considered with the Vote for the Office of the Minister.

The Dáil adjourned at 4.30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, 16th April, 1947.
