Vol. 105 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Suspension of the Deputy.

The Deputy will now withdraw from the House.

I will stay here until I get a reply from the Minister as to what steps he has taken——

I am compelled to name the Deputy.

——to avert a milk shortage in the City of Dublin.

I move that the Deputy be suspended from the service of the Dáil.

Why does he not answer the question?

Question put: "That the Deputy be suspended from the service of the Dáil."

I declare the motion carried. The Deputy will withdraw.

I still persist in protesting against the Minister's action in refusing to say what steps he is taking as regards the supply of milk to the City of Dublin.

The Deputy will be removed from the House.

Milk and butter are in short supply in Dublin to-day and I ask the Minister for Agriculture what steps he is taking to alleviate that shortage. I know how to conduct myself in this House but I am being treated differently from any other member of this House—I have always been.

The Deputy has, by a decision of the House, been suspended from the service of the Dáil.

Because I am doing my duty to my constituents, but I still persist——

The Deputy will obey the decision of the House.

The Deputy withdrew from the House.
