asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state, in respect of each of the last five years for which the information is available, the number of 6d. and 1/- postal orders sold to the public; and the number of such postal orders which were exported out of the State.

The number of 6d. and 1/-postal orders sold to the public in each of the five years 1942 to 1946, inclusive, is as follows:—
