Vol. 107 No. 8

Live Stock (Artificial Insemination) Bill, 1947—First Stage.

Leave granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act for the control of the practice of artificial insemination of cattle, sheep, goats, swine and horses. —(Minister for Agriculture.)
Second Stage fixed for Wednesday, 8th October.

Could we be told when this measure will be circulated?

Very soon, but I cannot give the exact date.

All the Bills down for First Reading to-day will be circulated during the Recess.

We would like to know whether a Bill is actually drafted. Do not sling them all at us on the 7th October.

Deputies will have a number of these Bills quite soon. If they are not circulated in time, they will not be taken for Second Reading on the date fixed.
