Vol. 108 No. 4

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take the business as set out on the Order Paper in the following order: Items 6, 8, 9 and 10.

I understand that if the General Resolution is finished to-day it is not desired to sit to-morrow. I also understand that there will be general agreement to finish the General Resolution to-night.

I understand there have been some discussions and there was an intimation of a desire to finish the discussion on the General Resolution to-day. If it should finish, the House will not meet to-morrow.

On what day will the House meet next week?

On Wednesday.

Perhaps it would help the discharge of business if agreement could now be expressed that we will finish the discussion on the General Resolution to-night and give the Minister for Finance an opportunity to reply.

A half-an-hour will do me.

The Minister could be called upon at 10 o'clock.

Is that the unanimous desire of the House, that the Minister be called upon at 10 o'clock, if not previously?

Agreed.

When do the Government propose to take the Industrial Efficiency and Prices Bill?

Next week.
