Vol. 108 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Cork Holding.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state what action the Land Commission have taken to acquire the holding at Ardnathrush, Bantry, County Cork, from which the late William Riordan was evicted, and in respect of which his daughters are making a claim for reinstatement.

The Land Commission have been pursuing inquiries regarding the lands in question in the townland of Ardnaturrish More held by John F. Tobin and it is hoped to reach an early decision on the question of instituting proceedings for their acquisition. The application of the representatives of William Riordan for an allotment is noted for consideration in the event of the lands being acquired.
