Vol. 110 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Branch Railway Lines.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if, in view of the improved fuel position, he will take steps to have the branch railways. Tullow-Sallins and Woodenbridge Shillelagh, reopened for goods and passenger traffic.

The suspension of train services on these and certain other branch railway lines was due to the fuel position. I propose to look into the question of these suspended branch line services at an early date and to discuss it with Córas Iompair Éireann.
