Vol. 110 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - East Wall Dispensary Needs.

asked the Minister for Health if he is aware that the residents of East Wall in the City of Dublin require a dispensary for their area, and if he will arrange to have a dispensary established in that area as soon as possible.

The answer to the first part of the question is "yes".

The provision of a dispensary for the area is, primarily, a matter for the commissioner administering the affairs of the Dublin Board of Assistance. I have communicated with the commissioner regarding the necessity for the provision of a temporary dispensary for the East Wall area pending consideration of a new health centre for the North Strand, Summerhill, and Store Street Dispensary District.
