Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Remount Farm, Lusk.

asked the Minister for Lands when it is proposed to divide the lands of Remount Farm, Lusk, amongst uneconomic holders in the Lusk and Rush areas, and whether the Land Commission will build houses on the holdings to be allotted.

The Land Commission are not at present in a position to acquire the lands of Remount Farm at Lusk. These lands being State property cannot be sold to the Land Commission pending the passing of enabling legislation. The introduction of the necessary legislation is not a matter for the Department of Lands.
