Vol. 110 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Agricultural Wages.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will direct the Agricultural Wages Board to review the existing boundaries of County Dublin wages areas Nos. 1 and 2 with a view to the establishment of a single wage rate for the whole of Dublin County.

The Agricultural Wages Board decides whether any particular minimum rate of agricultural wages shall apply to any county as a whole, or to part of that county only. The Act under which the board operates gives me no power to direct the board in this matter.
