Vol. 110 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tara Postal Service.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware that it takes two days for the delivery of a letter from Dublin to Tara, County Meath, a distance of only 22 miles; and if he intends to improve the postal service to that area.

Correspondence for Tara posted in Dublin in time for the general evening collections is due for delivery at Tara on the following morning.

My Department will investigate any specific complaints of delay which the Deputy brings forward.
