Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Representation at Traffic Conferences.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if Aer Lingus, Teoranta, Aer Rianta, and Aerlinte Éireann were represented at the recent Traffic Conferences of the International Air Transport Association at Rio de Janerio and Cairo, and, if so, whether he will state (a) the names of the persons who acted as accredited representatives, and (b) if these representatives were non-nationals.

Aer Lingus was represented at the recent conferences of the International Air Transport Association at Rio de Janeiro and Cairo. Aer Rianta was not represented at either conference. Aerlinte Éireann had one observer at the Rio de Janeiro conference. The accredited representatives of Aer Lingus at the Rio de Janeiro conference were: Mr. J.F. Dempsey, Mr. M. Stuart Shaw, Mr. R. Keyes McDonnell. Messrs. Dempsey and McDonnell are of Irish nationality. Mr. Stuart Shaw is of British nationality. The Aerlinte Éireann observer at the Rio de Janeiro conference was Mr. W. Sanger Green, who is of U.S. nationality.

The accredited representatives of Aer Lingus at the Cairo conference were: Mr. W. Damm, Mr. R. Keyes McDonnell. Mr. Damm is of Danish nationality. Mr. McDonnell is of Irish nationality.
