asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will state the number of persons registered at the Dublin Labour Exchanges as unemployed, or as seeking employment, at the nearest appropriate date to May 1st in each of the years 1945, 1946, 1947 and 1948, respectively, distinguishing between adult males, adult females and others.

The numbers of persons registered at the Dublin Employment Exchanges on the dates mentioned under the headings indicated by the Deputy were as follows:—
