I have under consideration revision of the conditions governing admission to the Register of Timber Merchants, and hope to be able to make an announcement on the subject at an early date.
Would the Parliamentary Secretary be in a position to state when these new conditions are likely to be announced? I would refer him to the fact that there are many people who were formerly engaged in the production of timber and who are likely to be affected by these proposed modifications. The matter is urgent.
