Vol. 111 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Special Rations for Road Workers and Fishermen.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state whether he will consider granting special rations to road workers and fishermen in the Berehaven peninsula; and, if so, to what extent.

Road workers and river fishermen are allowed supplementary rations of bread or flour, and sea fishermen are allowed supplementary rations of bread or flour, tea and sugar while engaged in sea fishing operations. These additional allowances are the maxima possible in present conditions.
