Vol. 111 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Lemonfield Estate (Galway).

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state when the roads and drains on the turbary of the Lemonfield Estate, Oughterard, County Galway, will be completed.

Lemonfield bog was divided in 1937 and a comprehensive scheme of general improvements, including roads and drainage, was put in hands and completed in 1940. The Land Commission expended £2,680 on the roads and drainage but no attempt has been made by the allottees to keep the roads and drains in good condition.
