Vol. 111 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - New Dublin Sorting Office.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state in reference to the proposed new central sorting and delivery office for Dublin: (1) what progress has been made with the plans; (2) the location of the site; (3) the estimated cost of erection; and (4) when the work of erection is likely to commence.

Preliminary sketch plans for the new Dublin central letter sorting and delivery offices, on the site of the present building used for these purposes in Pearse Street, have been prepared for discussion, but I am not in a position to give a considered estimate of the cost of the proposals or the probable date of commencement of the structural works.
