Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Housing Statistics.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state (a) the number of houses in Ireland built by private enterprise; (b) the number reconstructed; (c) the number built by local authorities, and (d) the number reconstructed, during the period 1932 to 1948.

Following is the reply:—

Table showing the number of houses built and reconstructed (a) by local authorities, and (b) by private enterprise with the aid of grants under the Housing Acts during the period from August, 1932, to 31st March, 1948:—
