Vol. 111 No. 18

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - One-Man Garda Stations.

asked the Minister for Justice whether he will consider the advisability of providing one-man Garda stations in populous rural areas where permanent barracks serving these areas are several miles distant.

As I stated during the debate on the Estimate for the Garda Síochána, I intend to examine the whole question of Garda strength and distribution, and in this connection I will give consideration to the Deputy's suggestion.
