Vol. 111 No. 18

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of Offaly Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands when it is proposed to divide the lands of Mr. M. Moore, Lumville, Edenderry, County Offaly, for the relief of local congestion.

These lands are not at present the subject of acquisition proceedings. Representations received in connection with them are under consideration.

In view of the fact that agitation for the division of those lands has been in progress for the past 15 or 16 years, would the Minister undertake to request his Department to expedite a decision?

asked the Minister for Lands if he will arrange for an early inspection of the lands of Mr. John Odlum, Rathdrum, Ballyammon, Daingean, County Offaly, with a view to their division amongst the local deserving applicants.

The position in regard to the lands of Mr. John Odlum at Rathdrum and Ballyteigue Little, County Offaly, is at present under review by the Land Commission.
