Vol. 111 No. 18

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Allocation of Kerry Holding.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he is aware that the division of the holding of Mr. Edward Goggin, Libaleaha, Ballinskelligs, County Kerry, has been in abeyance for the past seven years; that this holding was originally divided for allocation to Mr. Timothy Sullivan, Mrs. Bridget Sullivan and Mr. John Brennan, but subsequently let for grazing to a large farmer in that area; and if, in view of the fact that the small holders referred to were assured by his Department that Mr. Goggin's holding would be allocated to them at an early date, he will take immediate steps to have this promise implemented.

Arrangements for the division of the old holding of Edward Goggin are being expedited as much as possible but, owing to certain legal difficulties which have to be disposed of, it is not at present possible to say when the division will take place.
