Vol. 112 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Cork Postal Facilities.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether he is aware that the postal services in the Meelin, Newmarket, County Cork, area are most unsatisfactory and are a source of grave inconvenience to the general public in that district; and, if so, whether he will take steps to provide more efficient and expeditious deliveries to and despatches from that populous area.

I am having the postal services in the Meelin district examined and I will inform the Deputy in due course of any improvements that are found to be practicable.
