Vol. 112 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Distribution of Turbary.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the reasons why a large tract of turbary situated at Shranacloy, Louisburgh, Mullagh, area is not being distributed although a scheme for the distribution of this bog had been sanctioned by the Irish Land Commission some months back.

The Land Commission have made a preliminary survey of the Shranacloy bog with a view to the preparation of a scheme for its allotment. It is not possible to state when such a scheme can be prepared and final arrangements made for allotment.
