Vol. 112 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Train Halt at Moate.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he is aware that only one train per day to Galway stops at Moate station and that at 10.53 p.m., thus making communications between the town and the West most inadequate, particularly in the case of those engaged in the live-stock trade; and whether he will bring the matter before Córas Iompair Éireann with a view to improvement.

In view of the inquiry into transport which is at present proceeding, I would not feel warranted in taking any action in this matter.
