Vol. 113 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Vacated Kerry Houses.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that the houses in the Maharees district, Castlegregory, which were vacated four or five years ago by migrants, are still untenanted and are rapidly falling into decay; and if, in view of the fact that new owners have been selected for them, arrangements will be made to permit these persons to enter into occupation of the vacant houses and land without delay.

The Land Commission have at present under consideration the question of the disposal of the houses and lands which they have on hands in the Maharees district, and it is anticipated that a decision will be reached at an early date.
